A nine year old boy has died of serious injuries sustained in a side-by-side off road vehicle accident yesterday (Saturday) in rural Quinte West.
His friend, a 10 year old boy, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The collision occurred on Carmen Road, north of the 401 in Murray Ward, just before 4 yesterday afternoon.
Quinte West OPP, firefighters and Emergency Services paramedics responded.
An investigation continues.
