It appears payday has finally been reached for a group looking for Canadian aviation history.
Officials with the Raise the Arrow group, a team of researchers looking for test models of the Avro Arrow have located one.
They say sonar shows what is believed to be one of the free flight models, which was launched off the south shores of Prince Edward County in the 1950s.
The first model has been allocated to an Ottawa museum, with the second slated for the National Air Force Museum of Canada, in Quinte West.
Video from a Remote Operated Vehicle is expected to be released Friday morning.
Earlier this week it was announced that several rockets and a small piece of one of the Arrow models was located. CLICK HERE for that story.
