A number of people in Hastings-Lennox and Addington counties will receive special Canada 150 Awards on Monday.
The recipients were chosen by a call for nominations from Hastings-Lennox and Addington MP Mike Bossio, based on service to country or community.
The final decision was made by a panel of five judges.
The 68 nominees can be seen here: https://mbossio.infolib.ca/news-nouvelles/nominees-announced-for-canada-150-award/
Every Member of Parliament in the country received 20 special Canada 150 pins, made from the copper of the roof of the Parliament of Canada.
Bossio will hand out the local pins at a ceremony at the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee, on Monday evening.
