It’s shaping up to be an interesting week in Prince Edward County.
The wind energy company WPD has given the county a deadline of this Thursday, September 7, to approve a Road Users Agreement that it needs to begin constructing a nine turbine industrial wind farm in South Marysburgh ward.
The company intends to start construction September 10 and has suggested legal action against the county if the agreements aren’t approved.
Meanwhile, there’s a town hall meeting tonight (Tuesday) on the wind farm issue. It will be held at the Milford Town Hall on County Road 10 from 7 o’clock until 9.
