August was pretty much a normal month as far as weather is concerned in the Quinte region.
The average high temperature was 25 degrees, and the average low was 14 degrees, both the
same as historical averages for the area.
The readings were taken at CFB Trenton.
Meanwhile, we received 66 millimetres of rain last month, just under the normal amount of 72 millimetres.
As far as September is concerned, Environment Canada predicts a cooler than normal first half of the month and normal temperatures in the second half.
It’s predicted our area will receive normal or even higher amounts of rain in September.
