Northumberland County is pioneering a Home Share program for senior citizens, as a pilot project.
Coordinator Taylor Colicott says the pilot program, running until the end of 2018, is aimed at women who have a home to share and those who want to share that home.
Colicott says the agencies involved meet with the candidates to try to determine a good match.
Colicott says the money involved is about $400 a month.
