Bancroft OPP have charged a 25 year-old man, in connection with multiple break-ins at a business, on Hastings Street North.
Investigators looked at video surveillance footage after the store owner reported multiple thefts earlier this month.
Mitchell Grimes of no fixed address was arrested and held due to outstanding warrants.
He’s charged with six counts each of theft under $5,000 and breach of probation.
Meanwhile, Bancroft OPP are also looking for more information on two other break-ins.
Cash was stolen from another business overnight on August 16th and two off-road motorbikes were taken from an outbuilding on Malcolm Road in Highlands East, sometime between August 16th and 18th.
The bikes are described as a blue 2007 YAMAHA CWR and a blue 2006 YAMAHA YZ.
Anyone with information on those two thefts can call Bancroft OPP or Crimestoppers.
