The fall calendar for Stirling Figure Skater Chloe Choinard is getting full.
Last week the 15 year old Choinard learned that she and pairs partner Mathieu Ostiguy would skate for Canada at the International Skating Union’s Junior Grand Prix event in Riga Latvia. That takes place from September 6th to the 9th. Skate Canada has now decided that Choinard and Ostiguy will return to Europe at the end of September for the 5th stop in the I.S.U. series in Zagreb Croatia.
In December the graduate of the Stirling Figure Skating Club will compete in the Novice Singles division at the Skate Canada Challenge in Pierrefonds Quebec.
Thanks to a top 10 finish this summer, Chloe receives an automatic bye to the “Challenge” and is included in the NextGen talent identification pool for Skate Canada. A good showing there would qualify Choinard for the Nationals in Vancouver.
