Some much needed work will be done on a stretch of heavily travelled roadway in Prince Edward County.
Last night, county council voted to accept a low bid of $790,444 from Fidelity Engineering and Construction to repave and upgrade County Road 12.
The work will involved a 1.3 kilometre section of road within Sandbanks Provincial Park from the West Lake Dunes day area to Lake Shore Lodge Road.
The tender came in slightly under the amount budgeted for the project.
