Jury selection will begin next month in the Superior Court trial against a Coe Hill physician stripped of his medical licence.
In 2012, Rob Kamermans and his wife Mary Kamermans were charged following an investigation into forgery involving signatures on applicants’ applications for medical marijuana.
The couple face a slew of charges including fraud, laundering, trafficking and forgery.
Hastings County Assistant Crown Attorney Jodi Whyte says jury selection will commence September 21 for the trial that is expected to last three to four weeks.
Whyte says opening statements are also expected to begin that day.
