UPDATE: Power was restored around 12 p.m. Friday.
A lot of people will be without power until Friday afternoon in the Shannonville area.
Hydro One expects power to be restored by 3 p.m. Friday for about 1,600 hydro customers.
At about 6 a.m., a transformer blew and a hydro pole caught fire along Old Highway 2 in the Tyendinaga Territory.
