The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is seeking the public’s help after several severed cat heads were found in an open field in Frankford.
According to the SCPA, over the past month, three severed cat heads have been found near the Heritage Trail old railroad tracks in Frankford, Ontario. No bodies or other body parts have been found.
Spokeswoman Alison Cross said the SPCA is treating this as suspicious.
The Ontario SPCA is asking the public to contact 310-SPCA should they have any information that pertains to this case or by emailing cruelty@ospca.on.ca. All calls can remain confidential.
Cross said the SPCA is currently investigating this case without the assistance of Quinte West OPP at this time.
