A huge seizure of illegal cigarettes near Colborne.
The O-P-P say an officer on patrol noticed a vehicle running in the carpool lot at Percy Street and Highway 4-0-1 at 3-30 this morning. Further investigation revealed the man in the car was transporting 200-thousand cigarettes.
Thirty-one-year-old Ryan Bero of the Akwesasne First Nation, near Cornwall, is charged under the Ontario Tobacco Act.
The cigarettes were seized by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
