Team Canada has named rosters for two upcoming tournaments, which will help finalize a roster for the Olympics in South Korea.
A former Belleville Bull is among them.
Canadian GM Sean Burke says the Sochi Open and Tournament of Nikolai Puchkov, will help to find out who are the best options for the final men’s hockey team.
Shawn Lalonde, who played four years for the Belleville Bulls from 2006 to 20-10 has been named to the Puchkov tourney roster.
He tells Quinte News it is a great opportunity.
He currently plays for the Cologne Sharks in the German hockey league and was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2008.
