It was a terrible start to the morning for a driver well north of Cobourg around Roseneath.
Shortly after 5 o’clock this morning (Friday), a vehicle hit a horse on County Road 45, in the area
of County Road 24.
The horse was killed. The driver was not injured.
OPP, firefighters and local residents are trying to round up another horse that was also running free.
