He has been the 8-Wing Base Commander since August 2015, but Friday July 14, 2017Â is his last day in the posting.
Colonel Colin Keiver will leave CFB Trenton for a new posting in Ottawa in defense program co-ordination.
Keiver tells Quinte News getting the International Airshow back off the ground ranks right at the top of accomplishments.
He says the visit by the royals, and the massive infrastructure work at 8-Wing are also something he will remember moving into his next posting.
The change of command ceremony goes Friday (14th), where Colonel Mark Goulden will be sworn in to the commander’s position.
