Three area hospitals are getting some significant provincial funding for upgrades.
Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi announced today the province is investing just over $491,000 in Quinte Health Care, just under $170,000 into Campbellford Memorial Hospital and about $17, 000 into Northumberland Hills hospital in Cobourg, to revitalize various facilities.
The cash is part of a $7 billion jump in hospital funding in the 2017 provincial budget, to improve access to care, expand mental health and addiction services, and enhance patient experience and recovery.
