Round up your cowboy boots and hats as the rodeo will ride again in Prince Edward County.
The second annual County Championship Rodeo is set for July 22 and 23.
The action-packed weekend at the Picton Fairgrounds features two performances of live professional rodeo on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The event opens Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with a petting zoo and beer garden.
Rodeo events include: bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, barrel racing, jr. steer riding, jr. barrel racing and everyone’s favourite – bull riding.
There will be clowns, acts, bullfighters, vendors, concessions and music.
Ticket prices: Adults $15 in advance; $20 at the door; children (12 and under) $10 in advance; $12 at the door. (Advance sold up to Thursday, July 20th at noon)
