The Belleville Nissan and Freeflow Gas Quinte Royals Bantams split a doubleheader against a very strong Oshawa AA team Saturday in Wellington.
Game 1 saw the third place Oshawa group build up a 7-0 lead before the Royals came clawing back in the last inning, cutting their defecit down to three before eventually falling 7-4.
In the second game, the Royals delivered a great team effort lead by strong pitching and strong hitting and managed to salvage a split with a 6-4 victory.
Their next game will be on Monday at 7 p.m. in Peterborough.
