Headliners 54-40 and Colin James kicked off night one of the Haverock Revival Friday.
The Vancouver-based alternative rock group and the Regina, Saskatchewan-born singer-songwriter led off the two-day event, with some help from Hamilton based 80’s band Teenage Head, and The Kentucky Headhunters out of the United States.
Saturday will be the second and last day of the festival, as well as the busiest. Along with David Wilcox and Honeymoon Suite, the “Rock Pack” will be the main headliners on stage. That includes five original or former lead vocalists of popular 80’s bands. They are; Bobby Kimball of Toto, Gregg Rolie of Santana, Steve Augeri of Journey, Lou Gramm of Foreigner and John Payne of Asia.
The acts will start at 12 p.m. and is expected to go well into early Sunday morning.
If you want to take in the music and entertainment, head on down to the jamboree grounds at #10 County Road 48 in Havelock.
