A Kingston man has been arrested after being caught driving a stolen car in Tyendinaga Township Wednesday.
Napanee OPP responded to complaints of an erratic vehicle on Belleville Road, around 4:00 p.m. and found the car had been stolen and the driver was impaired by drugs.
Was the car was stopped, the driver tried to run from police, but was caught a short time later.
24 year-old Hunter Korenstein was arrested and taken to the Napanee Detachment where he was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, fleeing from police, dangerous driving and impaired driving.
He was released on a promise to appear with a court date in late August.
