Quinte Health Care is in the black for 2016-17.
At this week’s meeting in Wellington, it was announced that the four hospitals were in the black over $1 million.
CEO Mary Clare Egberts.
Egberts says with the extra money, it means they will have to be so focused on dollars and cents.
She says they will be able to make some investments in the staff and physicians and how they deliver care in the hospital.
