A 37 year old woman has been charged after a shoplifting incident on Bell Boulevard in the supper hour yesterday.
Belleville police charged Melissa Meilleur with theft under $5,000.
She appears in court August 10.
Meanwhile, early yesterday(Tuesday) afternoon city police officers responded to a dispute on College Street East.
It was alleged a youth was waving around a knife.
Two male youths were arrested. Their names cannot be released.
