There’s a special Change of Command Ceremony happening at 8 Wing Trenton Wednesday.
Colonel Shayne Elder will take over command of the Canadian Forces Aerospace Warfare Centre, from Colonel Kevin Truss, at 11:00 a.m.
The reviewing officer for the ceremony is the Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Lieutenant-General Mike Hood, with other special guests including CFAWC Honorary Colonel Dr. Jim McKeen and Director General of International Security Policy Major-General Derek Joyce.
The CFAWC is considered the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centre of excellence for air power development.
