Two weeks today is expected to be the opening of a massive expansion at a staple in Belleville’s industrial park.
On Friday June 30th, Procter and Gamble officials will receive an occupancy permit for their 175,000 square foot expansion.
Chief Building Official Ted Marecak says the original focus for the expansion was strictly warehouse, however a now production line may be installed as well.
With the expansion, the site will be flirting with 900,000 square feet, one of the company’s largest sites in North America.
There are about 800 full-time employees at the Belleville location.
