There is a brand new music festival that has arrived in the area.
The first annual Warkworth Music Fest takes place July 28th to 30th and is the brain child of Jake Whalen.
He says for the first year they are doing wall to wall cover bands that will bring some of the world’s largest songs to the stage.
Whalen says everything is taking place at the Warkworth Fairgrounds.
If it rains the concert will move inside.
The weekend headliners are Little Bones, a Tragically Hip cover band and Ear Candy, who plays the rock songbook from the 70s and 80s.
