If you need a place to beat the heat in Belleville, there are plenty of options available.
The City of Belleville encourages those needing relief from the heat to access public facilities within the city as cooling centres.
The Belleville Public Library on Pinnacle Street in the downtown core is open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 5:00 p.m. on Fridays and 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays
Starting on June 18th the library will be open on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre on Cannifton Road is open from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 midnight
The QSWC will be closing early on June 30th and the QSWC will be closed on July 1st. There is also a special activity schedule on the Civic Holiday so the building will be closing earlier.
The splash pads are open 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. They include:

Kinsmen Splash Pad – 151 Dundas Street East
