Some big decisions will be made this afternoon (Monday) on school amalgamations and closures.
The Student Enrolment/School Capacity committee will make final recommendations to the Hastings Prince Edward School Board regarding which schools to close and which to consolidate.
Recommendations are coming for schools in Belleville, Prince Edward County and Centre Hastings.
The school board itself will make a final decision on the recommendations next week.
This afternoon’s meeting begins at 2 o’clock at the Education Centre on Ann Street in Belleville.
