Almost $10,000 has been donated to Trenton Memorial Hospital by the Royal Canadian Legion.
On Thursday, District F and the Legion Ladies Charitable Foundations handed over $9,600 for cataract surgeries.
The money will go to purchase a cataract tray, which is a set of surgical tools used by ophthalmologists.
The hospital does about 2,700 cataract surgeries annually, over 50 every week.
