A local athlete has hit the podium at the 2017 OFSAA Track and Field championships.
Sam Hall of East Northumberland Secondary School in Brighton claimed a silver medal in the senior boys high jump event Friday morning.
Hall will be heading to a school in Toronto for Grade 12 next year to train with his coach full-time.
The action continues through this afternoon and tomorrow (Saturday) at Mary Anne Sills park.
