The Ontario Provincial Police say they are doing what they can in the search for missing Prince Edward County man David Franks.
His father, David Franks Sr., told Sean and Orlena on MIX97 Tuesday that the OPP were slow to do a serious search when they learned his son was missing last Saturday morning.
OPP Constable Connor Durkin says both the OPP helicopter and a chopper from CFB Trenton Search and Rescue searched the area around Rossmore Monday and Monday night. That was on top of a ground search.
Tuesday, the OPP helicopter continues to search from the air along with the Emergency Response Team on land.
Volunteers are also involved.
Meanwhile the family has created a Facebook page and is using the hashtag #FindFranks on Twitter, in an effort to get more awareness out about the search.
