The father of missing Prince Edward County man David Franks isn’t impressed with how the OPP has handled the search.
David Franks Sr. joined Sean and Orlena on MIX97 this morning, criticizing the OPP for being slow to react after learning his son was missing Saturday morning.
Franks Sr. wondered why the OPP didn’t bring in Search and Rescue from CFB Trenton right away, or call in volunteer firefighters to help walk the jogging route usually taken by his son.
A 424 Squadron helicopter did do a search of the area around Rossmore last night.
David Franks Jr. went out for a jog early last Thursday morning and hasn’t been seen since. The search continues.
Meanwhile, a resident of County Road 28 says there are 3 OPP all terrain vehicles searching fields, while at least 2 members
of the military are on foot searching along the roadside.
