Quinte West OPP continue to investigate following a report of an assault at a residence on 325 Dundas Street East, near Bain Park in Trenton.
Officers arrived on scene just before 2 a.m. where a female was found to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
Suspects, believed to be armed, escaped in a vehicle, and OPP investigators remain at the location.
Constable Dave Snider confirmed there is no threat to public safety.
