A recovery effort is underway in Lake Ontario at Kingston.
A man was seen swimming in the lake near the Royal Military College early last evening (Thursday), but didn’t resurface.
Last night, a chopper from CFB Trenton’s Search and Rescue unit, along with Coast Guard and Kingston Fire and Rescue searched for the man, but turned up nothing.
The helicopter returned to the base before midnight.
