A Belleville business owner has been fined again after being found guilty of not providing a safe working environment.
Owner of a local roofing company, Steve Bell was sentenced to one day in jail and fined $10,000. after a Ministry of Labour inspector saw one of his employees working without equipment that would protect him from falling back in 2015.
Bell had been fined on two previous occasions for similar infractions.
He must also pay a 25% victim surcharge.
