Prince Edward County council has given preliminary approval to a new housing development proposed for the east side of Picton.
Cleave Management and Investment Services hopes to build 28 single family houses and 30 townhouses on land between Downes Avenue and Talbot Street.
County council has approved a rezoning and a draft plan of the subdivision, subject to certain conditions.
