Firefighters in Quinte West gave a hand sand bagging Thursday.
One homeowner had been filling bags since Wednesday, and she received assistance yesterday, from Quinte West Fire Stations 2, 5, & 6.
Volunteers from the community also assisted in the effort.
The homeowner says in the 20 years she has owned her house, she has never seen water this high.
