The American Hockey League Board of Governors has approved the divisional alignments for the 2017/18 season.
Two new teams enter the North Division, including the Belleville Senators and the Laval Rocket.
The North Division will also include the Binghamton Devils, Rochester Americans, Syracuse Crunch, Toronto Marlies and Utica Comets.
The 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs format has yet to be finalized.
That will be done at the summer Board of Governors Annual Meeting, July 2-6, 2017.
