A well known local auctioneer has passed away.
Jim Nelson, who supported dozens of local events and fundraisers throughout the community, died Wednesday night.
For 35 years Nelson worked within real estate and agriculture auctions, but also lent his talents to charity events for conservation, community and church groups.
They included the Gleaners Food Bank, the Trenton MFRC, Wounded Warriors and many others.
Nelson was 65.
