A local post-secondary institution got some national exposure earlier this month.
Last Thursday (May 4, 2017), First Nations Technical Institute was featured on CBC’s The National with Peter Mansbridge.
The feature focused on the flight training program at the school, which is for Indigenous students looking to hit the air.
The three year program has taken off.
Students who graduate the program can move onto Indigenous, national or international airlines.
