A contributor to last years’ championships run is re-joining the Trenton Golden Hawks in time for the RBC Cup.
Forward Quinn Lenihan has spent this season playing for the Junior “B” London Nationals while attending school at the University of Western Ontario. The season is done and school is out making the 6′ 3″ Lenihan available for the Canadian Junior “A” Hockey championship.
The addition of Lenihan helps make up for the loss of Liam Morgan who suffered a separated shoulder during the Dudley-Hewitt Cup. The versatile Lenihan can also play defence.
Lenihan scored 12 goals and 7 assists in 47 regular season games last season . He added
2 goals and 2 assists in 5 games in last years RBC Cup.
The Golden Hawks play their first game at the national championship Saturday night against the host Cobourg Cougars.(7:20 on CJBQ) A fan bus is being organized. It will leave the Dunc McDonald Community Gardens at 5pm. Call 613-848-1856 for details or to book a seat.
