Another day, another rainfall record set in our region.
Yesterday (Saturday), according to measurements taken at CFB Trenton, 27.2 mm of rain fell, just getting by the previous rain record for a May 6 of 25.1 mm, set 73 years ago in 1944.
Meanwhile, in just the first 6 days of May, we have almost doubled the usual amount of rain our area gets in the entire month.
So far this month, we’ve received 146.7 mm. The monthly average is 79.4 mm.
