Housing speculators are buying up as many as 10 houses at a time in the Belleville-Trenton area, affecting local prices in a good and not-so-good way.
The spike in the housing market, with high-priced sales in the Toronto area, is sending people migrating down highway 401.
Manager of Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty, Jeff Nelles, says local home builders have come to the end of their ability to provide new houses.
