A 44 year old woman has been sentenced for her role in a Campbellford based methamphetamine operation.
According to Northumberland News, Sui Yuan Zhao, formerly of Campbellford, participated in an illegal drug lab headed up by her common-law husband, who was known locally as Jimmy Ng.
Zhao was sentenced to 9 years in prison. She had pleaded not guilty to drug charges.
Her husband had pleaded guilty to charges back in 2013 and was sentenced to 12 years in jail at that time.
The police investigation involved a scrap yard in Campbellford and another property in Warkworth.
