14 year old Nicholas Blagojevic of Brighton has won gold in the Singles Event at the Bowl Canada National Championships in Guelph.
Blagojevic won 12 of his 14 matches averaging 190 with a game high 242. Nicholas was also part of the Boys’ Southern Ontario team that placed 4th.
Nick’s father Andrew coached the Southern Ontario Girls team to a 4th place finish.
Locally, Quinte Bowl hosted teams from Sarnia to Montreal at the 4th Annual Quinte Youth Baker Doubles. It was won by a twosome from Kingston. Kylie Gallant and Karley Mason of Quinte Bowl finished second. Amanda Turner and Taylor Strickland of the Quinte Bowl were third. (List of winners below)
