There was a brawl in downtown Belleville early this morning.
City police responded to the area of the Catherine Street footbridge shortly after one o’clock.
Two men were held by police but eventually released without charges.
There were no injuries.
Meanwhile, an hour later city police were called about a break and enter in progress from a business
on Coleman Street.
Police found a suspect on West Moira Street carrying a laptop. A 35 year old Belleville man faces charges.
