The process leading to major decisions on school closures and consolidations continues by the Hastings Prince Edward School Board tonight.
A public meeting on proposals involving 11 of 16 schools in Belleville will be held this evening.
One idea being floated is to close both Quinte and Moira Secondary schools and build a new one in the east end, while moving some Quinte Secondary students to Centennial Secondary.
Several closures and/or consolidations are proposed for elementary schools as well.
The public meeting goes tonight at 6:30 at Quinte Secondary.
