A 22 year old Belleville man is facing several charges after someone went berserk early last evening in the city’s west end.
Belleville police report someone punched and broke a window at a residence, and then threatened someone with death.
A suspect then ran from police. Moments later police heard that someone had jumped into a vehicle while it was stopped at a stop sign, and proceeded to assault the female driver.
Officers arrived on the scene quickly, and arrested a man.
He has been charged with assault, uttering threats, and breaching probation.
He is in court today (Wednesday).
