The local budget has been set for the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.
Recently, council for Marmora and Lake passed a budget showing a 3.8 percent increase on the tax rate.
For a home valued at $200,000, the increase means an extra $41 a year in property taxes.
$560,000 has been set aside for roadwork in Marmora and Lake and over $750,000 has been set aside for upgrades to the Don Shannon Bridge.
