Construction in Prince Edward County is just under the $12 million mark, but still far behind last year at this time.
Chief Building Official Andy Harrison says most of the building is residential, but there is a bit of commercial as well.
At the end of March last year, construction value sat at $16 million, including $12 million for the Royal Hotel project.
